Snoot Safe is a daily check-in for people who live alone with their animals. Miss a check-in and we try to reach you. If we can't, we reach the people you chose, with your pets' care instructions and, once they prove who they are, how to get in.

How it works

1. You check in A tap in the app, a reply of OK to a text, pressing 1 on a call, or a link in an email. Once a day by default, on the schedule you pick, in your time zone.
2. We try you first Miss the deadline and reminders escalate over the next few hours: app notification, email, text, then a phone call. Before anyone else is contacted you get a clear final warning with the exact time.
3. Your contacts step in If you still haven't answered, every contact you chose is notified at once. They see your pets' care instructions immediately. House-entry details are shown only after a PIN or a one-time code, and every reveal is logged.

Check in after an alert and everyone gets an all-clear on the same channels. One person saying "I'm on it" tells the others.

A best-effort backstop, not a medical alert. Detection is bounded by your schedule plus the grace window, so on the default daily schedule it can take up to about a day for an alert to go out. Snoot Safe is for pets, and it is honest about what it can and cannot notice.

Beyond that: 10¢ per extra text or voice reminder, $1.99 per additional alert event, 99¢ per extra drill. Reminders never stop because you ran out; they just start costing.

US and Canada phone numbers at launch. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Texts and calls

Snoot Safe sends text messages and makes automated phone calls for two reasons only: to reach you when you miss a check-in, and to reach the contacts you chose when an alert fires. Nothing else, never marketing.

You receive reminders and verification codes at the phone number you verify in your account.
Your contacts receive one invitation text asking whether they agree to be contacted in an emergency. Nothing further is sent until they confirm through the link in that message. Every later message carries a one-tap link to step down, and replying STOP does the same.

Message frequency varies with your schedule and depends on your check-ins. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. See the privacy policy and the terms.
